Overview — Trezor Suite
Trezor Suite is the official management application for Trezor hardware wallets. It provides a single, audited interface to securely store, send, receive, buy, sell, swap, and stake supported cryptocurrencies while keeping private keys isolated on your device. The Suite is available as a desktop application and a web experience and is developed by the Trezor team to complement the hardware security model.
Core capabilities
Core capabilities include integrated portfolio tracking, transaction history with detailed metadata, network selection for supported chains, and direct interactions with decentralized applications through secure signing flows. Users maintain custody of their keys at all times: Trezor Suite coordinates transaction construction while user approval happens on the hardware device.
Security-first design
Trezor Suite enforces privacy and device-level security by storing secrets only on the hardware wallet. The Suite offers device management features such as PIN and passphrase configuration, backup verification, and options to set up view-only wallets for portfolio monitoring without exposing seed material.
Platform variants
Trezor Suite is provided as a full desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux and also as a light mobile companion (Trezor Suite Lite) to allow on-the-go portfolio monitoring and transaction reception while preserving the stronger security posture for transaction signing on hardware.
Quick actions
Connect your device to begin using Trezor Suite. If you do not yet have a device, official setup guides are available.
Features — Trezor Suite
Wallet management and transactions
Manage an unlimited number of accounts across supported coins and tokens. Trezor Suite provides send/receive flows with transparent fee selection, transaction previews, and hardware confirmation prompts. The Suite shows rich transaction history and on-chain details to help users audit activity.
Integrated exchanges, swaps, and staking
Trezor Suite integrates third-party liquidity and swap services and offers built-in buy/sell partners where available, with clear UX to differentiate custodial and non-custodial flows. Selected staking options are presented within the Suite to delegate or stake supported assets while keeping keys on-device.
Privacy & advanced settings
Privacy-protecting features such as Tor routing options and the ability to create view-only wallets are available in the application. Advanced users can enable experimental features in the Suite to preview in-development tools; these experimental features are explicitly marked and opt-in.
Security & Best Practices — Trezor Suite
Device-level key isolation
Private keys never leave the Trezor device. All sensitive operations require direct approval on the hardware screen, ensuring that remote malware cannot sign transactions unnoticed. Backups are created using BIP39-style recovery seeds and users are guided to store their recovery material offline and securely.
Firmware & Suite updates
Trezor maintains a release cadence for both firmware and Suite updates. Users are encouraged to apply official updates from trezor.io to receive security patches and feature improvements; the Suite displays update prompts and changelogs to help users verify authenticity of updates.
Support & verification
Official support documentation, verified downloads and product updates are available from the Trezor website. Users should verify download signatures and always consult the official support channels for recovery assistance or security questions.
